What’s included:
1 x Suppressor Shield (Choice of length)
1 x Male Coupler
1 x Female Coupler
1 x Picatinny Rail Adapter
1 x Allen Key
1 x Stuf Sak
MODTAC designed the Suppressor Shield – Universal Rail Attach Coupler (U-RAC) to provide a free-float suppressor cover solution to the majority of standard forends with top picatinny rails.Top picatinny rail systems maintain a standard height over bore, which allows the Suppressor Shield to be centered over the suppressor in a free-float configuration. Please check the Fitment Guide to see if your forend is compatible.
Temperature Testing

MODTAC independent testing utilized commercially available tools to identify the measurable difference between suppressor temperature and the outer surface of the Suppressor Shield (Performance Capability) of the free-float version of the Suppressor Shield.
Product Specifications

U-RAC Suppressor Shield length Selection
Measure length (A) shown on image above. [Front front of forearm/rail to end of suppressor]
Note: We recommend the Suppressor Shield be shorter rather than longer than the suppressor if the measurement comes out in between sizes.
Take length (A) and subtract 3/4″ for the total width of the coupler.
Suppressor Shield length = (A) – 3/4″

Fitment Guide
- Standard Venting – The “standard” vent design is optimized to deliver maximum mirage reduction while enabling air flow from the below the suppressor, up and around the suppressor body to encourage natural cooling.
- CQB Venting – Our CQB vent design focuses less on mirage reduction and more on protecting the operator. By increasing the amount of hot air that can escape, the CQB vent design promotes faster cooling while still offering maxmimum burn protection.
